Our client seeks to significantly expand its client base in Los Angeles. To accomplish there goals, they will be adding a small number of highly motivated bankers with strong client skills and exceptional business development skills who will thrive in the entrepreneurial environment provided by the Bank. The successful candidate will benefit from an entrepreneurial, non-bureaucratic organization oriented towards facilitating the rapid delivery of client solutions. This service commitment helps the banker to develop, sustain and enhance strong relationships, which in turn lead to business referrals. Importantly, Relationship Manager uncapped incentive compensation plan is directly tied to production, so high performing individuals directly impact their compensation.
The Relationship Managers manage the client relationship: they are responsible for new business generation, client service and follow on business. Relationship Managers develop business in any customer segment.
Specific responsibilities include:
Develop, maintain and enhance client relationships. Market and originate high quality loans, lines of credits including business & construction loans. Market banking services: deposits (checking, money market accounts, cash management and on-line banking). Identify wealth management prospects and market to them through the Banks Wealth Advisory services.
The candidate will have the ability recognize an the needs of investment advisory, trust and brokerage services with prospects and clients. Generate leads and grow the business through active networking, and client referrals. Determine prospect needs and develop solutions. Effectively access the Banks product expertise on behalf of the clients. An important aspect of the company’s growth strategy is to cross sell credit, deposit and investment products. Assemble and orchestrate appropriate client team to serve clients. Develop and implement personal sales goals. Create a direct marketing plan to target qualified prospects. The Relationship Manager must be a proven sales professional with excellent credit skills who has the ability to maintain and develop the growth of the client base in Los Angeles. What the bank is looking for is a seasoned banking professional with a solid grounding in credit, private banking and lending with a minimum of 5-7 years of client relationship management experience.
This person will be an entrepreneurial in nature, highly motivated, imaginative, and resourceful; a self-starter. A working knowledge of local markets and ideally a market industry specialization, such as CPA’s, law firms, entertainment, etc. Strong analytical skills and superior business development skills. This person should have a bachelor’s degree and credit training required; Series 7, 63 desirable.
This position is a highly rewarding and uncapped incentive compensation plan.
